Save it till later
One of our colleagues, a member of the Mastermind group we belong to, lives a very busy life, arguably busier than most. He’s a successful serial entrepreneur, most recently a Digital Marketing director for another agency, father of five, and reinventing himself after some health challenges. So when he recommended this productivity app, I listened.
It’s free, easy to use, and perfect for me. It’s called Pocket and it allows me to archive anything online that I want to read, watch, or listen to… later.
I used to keep tabs or windows open of resources or articles I wanted to read but didn’t have time when I found them. That led to, sometimes, a dozen or more tabs open on my browser at a time, some of them for weeks.
Now I just ‘add to Pocket’ and presto, I can read/listen/watch at my leisure without having to search for it again.
I use it on my devices and my desktop and add a tag to each resource so I can sort them in Pocket for the category of resource I want to read at any given time.
Pocket helps organize my desktop and device, and keep my time compartmentalized so I’m less distracted when I’m working.
Check it out and let me know what you think.
